As part of the joint project “Collaboration for Protecting Ukrainian Archaeological Heritage in the Conditions of War”—implemented by the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) and the Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties with the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan—Daiichi Gosei Co., Ltd. has provided a range of materials used for the packing and storage of archaeological objects.
The supplied items are products of our international brand “TASUKI”, and they are currently being utilized to support the emergency protection of cultural heritage in Ukraine during wartime.
■ Main Materials Provided
- Polypropylene storage and evacuation boxes for archaeological and anthropological materials (DAMPRA Boxes)
- Protective straps for preventing vibration and falling of containers and large artifacts on shelves (Rack Safety Belt Protective Straps)
- Neutral paper boxes for the preservation of ancient textile materials (Neutral Paper Box)
- Anti-corrosion protective boxes and sets for iron artifacts (Danpla Boxes for Iron Artifact Preservation)
- Shock-absorbent transport cart for moving materials (Free Carry)
These materials have been distributed to the academic repository, the Bioarchaeology Department, and the Archaeological Museum within the Institute of Archaeology, NASU, where they are being effectively utilized.
